The Specification of the UF membrane
Ultrafiltration (UF) is a membrane-based, pressure-driven separation process that effectively removes suspended particles and other particulates while allowing dissolved substances to pass through. That way is widely adopted as a pretreatment solution for desalination and reverse osmosis systems, and plays a key role in wastewater reclamation and the production of both potable and process water.

Membrane pore size typically ranges from 0.001 to 0.1 micrometers, effectively intercepting impurities such as bacteria, viruses, colloids, large organic molecules, and suspended solids in water, while retaining beneficial minerals like calcium and magnesium ions. The filtered water is crystal clear and directly meets basic purification requirements for drinking water, industrial process water, and other applications.
High Flux and Superior Efficiency
The hollow fiber structure significantly increases the membrane's specific surface area (effective filtration area per unit volume), resulting in higher filtration flux for the same volume. This enables rapid treatment of large water volumes, making it ideal for large-scale water treatment applications such as municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.
Low Operating Costs, Excellent Energy Efficiency
The filtration process requires only low operating pressure (typically 0.1 to 0.3 MPa), resulting in significantly lower energy consumption compared to deep filtration technologies such as reverse osmosis. Furthermore, membrane modules can be restored through backwashing and chemical cleaning, extending their service life (typically 3 to 5 years) and reducing replacement costs.
Strong Anti-Pollution Ability, Wide Adaptability
Certain materials such as PVDF membranes are resistant to acid, alkali, and oxidation, and can withstand complex water conditions including highly polluted industrial wastewater and high-salinity environments. Processes such as cross-flow filtration reduce pollutant deposition on the membrane surface, slowing membrane fouling and maintaining stable operation.
Flexible Application Scenarios, Strong Compatibility
Can be used independently as a deep filtration unit or combined with other processes such as pretreatment, reverse osmosis, and nanofiltration. It is highly compatible with a variety of scenarios including drinking water purification, wastewater treatment and reuse, and industrial purification.
